Biggest buzztail I've caught yet

Not the longest but it was super fat and very strong, hard to hook and hold his tail while I moved him off the road!

Crotalus Oreganus or Helleri (it's hard for me to tell the difference because we have hybrids here).

Re: Biggest buzztail I've caught yet

Id go with a crotalus oreganus helleri and by the looks of it she's gravid!

From what I'm told this is a possible intergrade but appears to be mostly helleri.

The Oreganus subspecies can be unbelievably difficult to differentiate from each other so I wouldn't say it's 100% this or that, just what it appears to be... If you can share a bit more info in privet with me I can tell you what it is.
