Boa humidity

Recently bought a z2014 male jungle boa. I have him on carefresh bedding right now with a large water dish. Would that be plenty in terms of humidity, or would he still need occasional misting

Thanks in advance
Nick

Re: Boa humidity

You should aim for 70-80% humidity, 50-60% is good but the bare bones of what is good for them. You can also add a humid hide if you have problems getting the humidity that high, and that would also allow them a variety of humidity.

Whether or not that's good enough for humidity is 100% completely dependent on your situation. Each person has different experiences with what they need to do for humidity depending on where they live and their set up. Most likely it will be enough, but I'd monitor humidity to see.
