I'm really wanting to add a Sav to my collection but every single one of them seems to be wild caught and I'd really prefer to find a CB baby does anyone know of any breeders in the US?
Thanks!
Check out savannahmonitor.net and varanustalk.com, i think theyve been bred like maybe 5 times in captivity, they require an 8 foot cage, 2 feet of soil, minimum for burrowing, 60+% humidity, and basking spots in the 130-150 range.
I'm well aware of their needs, been keeping herps for over 20 years I just want a captive bred Sav if possible, I may head to the Pomona show and see what I can find.
Coolio, @albertclark, who is this breeder lol? I'd be vary wary at a show, most vendors will tell you anything to make a few bucks, i only know of 1 person atm who is incubating eggs
