Hacking?

I was recently informed that someone was trying to log into my ssnakess account and failed 5 times. That wasn't me.. The IP was: 142.4.213.25, which is an anonymous router. I don't understand why anyone would want access to this account anyways.. but it is rather unnerving. Is there a good way to prevent this? And is this a normal occurrence for this forum?

Re: Hacking?

I know it has happened to me and at least one other in the past few weeks.

Re: Hacking?

It happened to me on this site a couple of months ago. Got a notification that someone was trying to access my ssnakess account which I knew was weird because back then I never used it. My son tracked the IP to somewhere in China...no joke

Re: Hacking?

Yeah, bunch of spammers have been trying to get in. Unfortunately there's not much we can do except encourage everyone to have good strong passwords that are hard to guess. None of this abcde12345 stuff... lol.
