San Bernardino Mtn King from today
Found this beauty crossing the road moving away from a construction job site in the San Jacinto Mountains.

Re: San Bernardino Mtn King from today
Another pic. I've spent countless hours searching in prime habitat for this snake and I end up finding it on the main road. I can only attach one picture per post from my iPhone or else I would post all of the finds from that day.

Re: San Bernardino Mtn King from today
Nice! It's always so weird to see these crossing the road... I visit the range a couple times a year, not an easy mountain to herp! I have seen some very orange C.ruber near the base. The C.O. Helleri are nearly solid black at the top and are considered the A pool so they are extremely toxic!
Nice find!

Orange huh? That would be cool to see. Heres a pic of the only things I found in the most perfect Z habitat.

Also an Ensatina hybrid. I have a lot of luck in those mountains if anyone ever wants to come with to see what we can find.

Wow, a z is a dream find for most any herper. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. If you upload the pictures to a photo hosting site and link them you can put multiple pictures in one post, and they will be much better resolution.

Re: San Bernardino Mtn King from today
Yea I was in shock until I looked at the pictures like ten times after I got home it was extremely docile too. Ok cool! I'm not not very computer handy so I was just getting frustrated. So something like photobucket? Or is there a better one?

Re: San Bernardino Mtn King from today
Awesome finds. I'm always jealous of people who have the opportunity to herp the mid-southwest states. Amazing herps to be found there.
