Haha...thanks guys. I'm usually around to gather them before they coil but, this year...I've been super busy and not around as much. It's much easier if you can catch them before them go into mother mode. LoL.
Had another female drop last week
Fun time of year. And, nice to have some carpet eggs in there next to the BHP eggs. Gives me a little variety to play with. lol.
Oh shes still on the smaller side then. My jcp is pushing 9'. she was that long when I got her and apparently her previous owner got 2, 21 egg clutches out of her. Thats why I'm so dissappointed I got nothing this year. But Ill be trying again next year so we will see what happens.
I've seen some bigger Jungles around. I like to keep mine about the size that they occur in their native habitat. You'd be hard pressed to find a true "jungle" over 4 or 5 feet in the wild.
I know thats the typical size for them. which is why I was absolutely blown away when I saw her in person the first time when I bought her. But she was beautiful healthy and had a great temperment so I brought her home that day.
Smoooth lol. I feel like I would've gotten bitten for sure. I caught a little bit of the post of Facebook. This is the 3rd time she's done 10 eggs right?
Second Terrell. Gonna give her off this next year. I've noticed that my females seem to drop about the same every year...give or take one or two.
Hows the new additions settling in?
D
Ah ok. That's pretty cool that they are that consistent. They are doing great. I was just about to post up pictures of them. Feeding em today when I get home
