Carpet in the grass

We had a nice day here recently so I took Jenkins out for some sun. Such a pretty boy, so iridescent!

Stunning. Especially in the grass. They always look more appealing in a natural setting vs. an enclosure.

I'm not a python guy, mainly because I'm afraid of being bitten... but the mor I look at them the more I want one. How big is she? Length, width and weight?

He is around 6.5 feet long, probably around 5 pounds or so. He could stand to gain a bit. Width I'm not exactly sure about. But he is a sweetheart. I used to be afraid of getting bit. But now that I have been bit by a baby carpet I realised it doesn't even remotely hurt, and my adults are all puppy dogs.

Here are a few pics of another carpet, my female IJ shed this morning so I took her outside.

Re: Carpet in the grass

Maybe that's what I need, to get bit by my king and get it over with.... Hopefully the fear will go with it.

Very cool snake snake by the way. Pretty boy
