So a buddy of mine has a sunflower female. She was born in 2008 but the breeder he got her from had her malnourished so she is only 5 foot long. Is she capable of breeding or is that something he shouldn't try to put her through
Has she been fed up to weight to tolerate breeding and carrying a litter? There should be minimum weight criteria posted somewhere, which your friend should try to exceed for safety.

I personally wouldn't even try it, if she's on a healthy weight she is basically old enough. Just not worth the risk for me, you don't know what is damaged inside.
