So my little spotted python has recently started doing this thing where when he strikes the mouse, even if he bites it right on the face, he will wrap around its front half, then let go of the mouse and start trying to eat it. It takes him like 20 minutes to even start eating it because he tries to go backwards and finds out it doesn't work. Eventually, he realizes he is holding onto the end he should start from and finally gets it right. It has no effect on his health so it doesn't concern me, I just thought it was funny
Anyone else have snakes who aren't quite the most skilled hunters?
