Anery/Axanthic/Axanthery?

Ok so as I understand genetics:

Anery = no red pigment
Axanthic = no yellow pigment

However! It seems to me that these are 6 in one hand and half dozen in the other as far as the hognose world is concerned. But I would just like clarification from someone with more experience with these snakes to confirm my assumption. Are anery and axanthic hogs the same?

Good question! I always just thought anery was brownish and axantic was black/white/gray lol. I look forward to the answer!

Their appearance may be the same, but how would the different genetics affect the offspring from a given breeding project?
