My father inl aw and I started to construct my wife and I's water monitor cage. it is 8' x 4' deep x 6' tall. we started on turkey day. and as far as construction goes the only thing left is to cut the door vents and holes to allow lights in. then sealing and painting. then I will work on shelves and what not once I have the dirt in place.
You will REALLY want to seal that up tight to prevent any moisture from getting to the materials you used to make this enclosure. As a rule of thumb, most people use actual plywood instead of the pressed fiber board because the fiber board is so susceptible to damage from moisture. Just a thought...
I know but it is a simple and easy tare down. most of all I wanted to get my plans right. but It will be sealed all around in and out. but as it goes I can replace.
