Caught Atticus hanging out on his branches today playing peekaboo expecting a shed any day now from this guy.

Ohh! Nice Rainbow Boa! I recently learned about these and they are quite easy to keep. And their scales give off a rainbow like the sun beam snake I believe?

They are amazing snakes, Josh. I'm addicted enough that I breed them! You are correct on the rainbow, this species shows great iridescence in the right light. They also stay a manageable size, which is nice in terms of cost and safety.

Care to post some more pics? You don't get to see crosses between the two very often

Re: Little pic I caught today

Sure! I was intrigued by the mix too, can't wait to see how he turns out. I'm hoping for the more subtle colors of the columbian but hopefully he keeps the pattern more like a brazilian. However he turns out though he is a great snake so far

Re: Little pic I caught today

How neat, seems like he's got mostly brazilian traits but I definitely see the columbian too, it'll be interesting to see how he colors up
