So, I'm not a colubrid person but one day I was like "Damn... I really need a Hognose", so I set out for the Reptile Expo in Toronto and saw quite a few cute babies. I told myself I was just going to "look".
Somehow this happened.
Meet Nugget ♂ and No-Name-As-Of-Yet ♀
These are the most relaxed tiny snakes I've ever held. Usually tiny snakes are defensive little spazzoids but not these two. The female is a bit jumpy and shy but the male is completely outgoing and slow moving. He has already eaten a pinky for me (female wasn't as interested). I'm so looking forward to watching these two grow. I'm already wanting more.
