Beautiful day, off work, kids on spring break...we trekked to the zoo and had a great day...
Thought I'd share some pics from the day

A day with the family at the zoo sounds like a great time MDT. Those are the priceless moments. Really nice shots too.

Re: Some Pics form the Tulsa Zoo yesterday

Great shots! I specifically like the one with the komodo dragon. I have been to Rinca and Komodo a few days ago (2 of the largest islands in Indonesia where they are found in the wild) and the guys are truly amazing. In Rinca we saw 5 of them lying near the kitchen of the park, they smelled the meat in there. They were all males and the large ones didn't seem for want to stand up; when we came back from the 2 hour trekking trip, they were still lying there. Though, on the Komodo island we saw one sunbathing by himself in an open part of the park. When he saw us he stood up and walk around us and checked us out after which he quickly walked away in a nearby bush. It was quite the experience!

Those Fiji iguanas are so freaking pretty. I'm always mesmerized when I see a picture of one. Hopefully ill get to see one in person one day.

Awesome pics! I love the Tulsa Zoo (I'm from the metro area) but I haven't been there in forever. I really want to see the new dinosaur exhibit. I think it's still there... I don't remember if it was a permanent thing or not. Great pics. The first one of the komodo dragon has really great composition.
