Just two more weeks before I make the switch to loose substrate with this girl who I decided to name Willow with the help of my almost 2 year old daughter. I always keep new acquisitions on paper for a month while observing and preventatively treating for mites during that time. Loose substrate is great for these modestly sized poop machine colubrids. I'll be using calcium sand of course.
Just kidding! I couldn't resist. Going with a mix of coconut coir and orchid bark.
