You cannot figure out the percentage without the lineage. For instance- Anthony Caponetta had a 75% IJ jaguar that he bred with a pure IJ to make 87.5% IJ Jags. One of these males was sold to chris from "Gecko Daddy" where he was bred to a pure IJ girl from Germany making my 93.75% girl. When I breed her to a pure male I will get 96.87% IJ's. She is het for granite so I am debating making high % granite jags and trying to get a Jag line that is higher than 99% Irian Jaya- basically as pure as that morph can be in this locale of carpet python.

Re: IJ Jag Pics
Edit: I should add that the reason all of this is necessary is because the Jaguar morph is not a genetic trait that has been found in Irian Jaya's. In order to make an Irian Jaya Jaguar it had to be outcrossed.

Re: IJ Jag Pics
Wow, she's gorgeous, really like the head markings. One of these days I'll have to get me a carpet, I think it'll be a bredli or a bredli jag.

Re: IJ Jag Pics
That's a very nice looking python, Franks. I have to say we are both purists, but can still admire a nice looking jag when we see one.
I'll have to post some pictures of our Gammons.
