Re: How does his weight look?
Looks fine to me, I'm not seeing any real loose skin but that would be a main indicator of an issue. One thing that worked very well for me was scenting my rats like mice. It helped with that jump and may provide the needed push to get him to rats.

Re: How does his weight look?
I'm surprised actually that he's put on this much weight so far, only eating mice. I've noticed he has more strength now, too. He can really squeeze my arm tight!
Why do BP's have to be so stinkin' picky?!
Cmwells, what do you scent with?

You could try African soft fur rats, bp's usually prefer them and won't go off feed when there eating them from what I know of them

Re: How does his weight look?
I used the bedding from a mouse, my friend has lots of mice. I would imagine that thawing the two together would be sufficiant. I just rolled the rat in the bedding from the mouse for a couple mins, worked like a charm. But I've never been sure why they're soo picky and it seems to come in waves, they just get picky, then they're not...

Re: How does his weight look?
If you really wanna jump start the feed you can use African soft furs as mentioned above, but not all places carry them. You could always try a gerbil. They have worked in the past for me when I picked up a rescue that was malnourished and wouldn't eat. But honestly as of now he looks good. Just keep trying.
