Is it a removable perch? It is much easier to get the perch and the snake out then just the snake....You can also try to gently nudge her to see if she will come off by herself instead of pulling her off....

I usually nudge my Ammies with a snake hook. Or if i don't have time to wait for them to come peacfully, or in mine's case not so peacefully. I put on a glove and get ther head extended a bit, then grab them right behind the head. Dont choke em, just a firm hold, they will coil around your hand, and probably urate all over you too.lol
Also wearing a glove makes them allot more approachable. They don't sense the heat from your hand and they are at ease. Now once they sense body heat your on your own. Also if a glove isnt handy, douse your hands in cold water, this also will throw them off the heat from your hand for a bit.
