I am new to the forum. I joined because I have a growing interest in snakes. I am thinking about getting one myself. I will be doing research before hand and wanted a place to get ACCURATE info and experiences from people who already own snakes. I have not decided on a species, but I do want one that will stay relatively skinny.
I currently have a male veiled chameleon, Piccolo, and am part of a chameleon forum where I found great info. Since I am wanting to get a snake I thought a snake forum would be just as helpful!
Let me stress again that I will be doing research before hand. I will not be going into this blind. It will be my first snake that I own, however I do have some experience with smaller snakes from our local nature center and from the college I attend. I am graduating with a Bachelor's in Biology with a focus on organismal biology in a week and two days! Whoo!

Congrats on graduating! Many slender species of snakes to chose from! Good luck finding one you really like, you could start by checking out different kinds of kingsnakes, ratsnakes and cornsnakes!
