Question my snake regurgitated, when should I feed next

I think I know why he regurgitated was reading up online about possibilities and I think I narrowed it down to 2, he drank alot if water afterwards and maybe the temp was to low. My question is since he regurgitated it when should I try feeding him again?. I feed him once a week on Tuesdays.

what were your hot end temps ?

and what are they now ?

if it was lack of heat that caused the regurge,i would wait 14 days then feed

if after the temps have been raised he regurges again,i would think about getting your vet to do some tests

cheers shaun

Re: my snake regurgitated, when should I feed next

When I have a snake that regurged, I always wait at least 2 weeks, then I feed a smaller meal. For example, if the snake normally eats adult mice, I would give a small hopper. Snakes lose a lot of digestive juices and enzymes when they regurge, so you have to give the animal time to recover and replenish the stomach as well as heal the esophagus. I then wait one normal feeding cycle and give a normal meal. Then the animal is back on its usual feeding.

Some species require even longer to recover, but as corns have pretty fast metabolic rates, I would say 2 weeks is fine.
