Found this snake in my bedroom
I found this snake attached to my crumbled kerchief when I woke up in the morning. My house is on the second floor, off late, there is a tree branching into my bedroom balcony. Not sure if the snake reached my bedroom through that way. I have attached the pics of the snake? Not sure what type it is? Venomous or not- venomous? What precautions should I be taking? And how do I find if there are more snakes inside my house, which I am yet to spot.
I am even more concerned as I have a baby at my home.
Many thanks in advance,
Ram

Looks like a eastern bronzeback (Non Venomous). Could be wrong though.

Re: Found this snake in my bedroom
Looks to be dead or near death. Looks squashed around the neck and no healthy snake lies on its side like that.

Re: Found this snake in my bedroom
If the OP is in fact in India, and knowing that there are several very dangerous snakes in India, and apparently not familiar with native species...Aaaaaand having a baby in the house....if I was in this situation, I'd probably kill it as well. Now that there has been information given, hopefully the OP won't have to do the same thing again.
