"Off-camera" beauties

Are there snakes that you dismiss as uninteresting or unattractive in pictures, yet fascinate you in person?

Re: "Off-camera" beauties

egg eating snakes arent the most spectacular snakes, but they are still fascinating....probably because every time i see one I remember an Attenborough episode where I first saw one as a child

also Slow Worms - not snakes of course, and not very pretty, but they are awsome little reptiles imo

Childrens pythons.... most are plain as sticks - a couple of the morphs are fantastic though.

Spotted pythons. Kind of plain looking in pictures, but iridescent in person and full of personality(if that's what you want to call it :P)

My Mangrove snake is beautiful, but I have never gotten pictures of her that do her justice.

Garter snakes, only the endangered San Francisco Garter snake I would like to see. They are blue in color!
