Please help with snake id!

Hello snake experts.
I just moved to a new house and found a couple of these snakes. We have a toddler so we are really concern about this snakes crawling around. We found 1 inside the house, 1 in the yard, another in the flower bed, and a tiny baby one dead on the gutter. The ones we found are about over a foot long and has diameter of about a pencil.
We are in Eastern Maryland, an hour south of DC.
