Ginger Corn

Since the one I hatched out last year unfortunately died due to not feeding, I waited until after this year's started feeding to unveil him. Ginger is a combination of 3 different hypo morphs (Hypo A, Sunkissed, and Ultra). Last year, I hatched out the first one in the world. However, since she was not destined to make it, this little boy is currently the only one in the world. I was lucky to get him at all, given only 3 eggs (out of the clutch of 15) hatched due to a heat spike that killed off a majority of my corn and Asian colubrid collection.

There is absolutely no amel in this snake whatsoever (both parents were tested by breeding to a homozygous amel animal). This little boy is going to be sticking around here for a little while so I can watch him grow up.

Here he is crawling out of the egg.

Fresh out of the egg.

Ginger on the left, Hypo Sunkissed sibling on the right.

And after his first shed.

He should be finished digesting his first meal, so I'll be pulling him out for some (quality) pictures in the next few days. Thanks for looking!

Wow, love the pattern and colour combination. The markings on his head are also very unique. Lovely project you have here

Re: Ginger Corn

Thank you, everyone! I really love what a strong Sunkissed influence does to head patterns. I'm looking forward to watching this boy grow up.
