misjump?

I have seen my crestie jump at the glass several time successfully clinging to the glass. But last night i went in and he was about half an inch away from the front glass sitting on a branch. All of a sudden he jumped, but hit his nose on the glass and landed back on the branch in the same spot. I think he only stunned himself but do your guys ever do this?

Babies need time to learn how to jump and aim at food properly. Just give him more time and he'll do fine.
