Hello

My name is Eddie and I've been lurking and learning while deciding if I was going to get back into monitor lizards. I've already learned so much and I'm looking forward to being part of the community here and interacting with everyone.

Re: Hello

I'd really like a Kimberely rock monitor, but it's looking like they're hard to find. I'm going to start on the enclosure sooner than I thought because there's a reptile show in March, maybe I'll get lucky. I should at least be able to pick up some Dubia roaches though and get started on the feeders.
I had a Nile in the past, but there's no way I could house a big monitor knowing what I know now.

I was completely unaware of the Kimberly rock monitor until recently. Now I feel like I keep hearing about them!

I think it's because of the information that's out there now on what these monitors really need for living space. There are only so many options when it comes to small monitors and the Kimberely is so unique looking.
