Post Visually Sexing my MBK

Hello Everyone! I have raised this Mexican Black kingsnake from hatchling. She is 4 years old. I did a bit of research and I visually Sexed the snake as a female very early on. To me the gradual taper suggests female. I have attached the best picture I can take she is very explorative and is hard to hold and take a picture too. She did lose a very small piece of her tail as a baby due to heat pad issue. I know probing is a guaranteed way but want to know if any experienced keepers have a keen eye. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

That is an awfully short tail. Seems likely it could be female.

Save the snake's skin the next time it sheds. Count the scales from the vent to the end of the tail. Low counts indicate female, high counts indicate male.

OK will do. When she does shed I'll check she gives nice full sheds every time. Thanks for the info
