Great place to watch for free tanks/cages

Many of you are probably already aware of this site but thought I would post it for those of you who aren't. It's a Yahoo Group called Freecycle.com Everything is free, all you have to do after joining is give something away for free and then just watch it or you can get daily emails from them. I've seen tanks, cages and iguana enclosures all posted for free. I myself have gotten 6 free bird cages, stainless steel bowls, water bottles and ceramic bowls, saving me a few hundred dollars. There are groups set up locally by town or area all over the country and a few in other countries. Once I get something I bleach the item, let it dry in the sun then scrub with vinegar, rinse and allow to dry in the sun again.

Just an FYI: I think it's freecycle.org I went to freecycle.com and it looks like a bunch of spam.

Hmm, I've never found anything worthwhile on freecycle and some of it definitely wasn't free. Pity that.

I think it's different in different areas. Back home I'd find some nice stuff for free. Too bad is was never what I was looking for. Actually, I never did find anything I was looking for regardless if it was free or not. lol

That's too bad, they are not suppose to charge for anything on the site.

My county isn't even on there. XD My town is though. I guess we have to be a member to see things?
