As most of you know, I'm moving back south to FL and I'm shipping Kaybe & Pika down. I fly home on May 15th, so I'm flying them there ahead of time so that they can settle in by the time I'm home. They will be in good hands though: my mom has grown from a "snakes are evil" woman to a "snakes are beautiful" woman who has a confident hand in taking care of my scaly babies. She will be waiting for them to arrive tomorrow morning to open the box, make sure they're OK, and set them up in their new boaphile cages
For those who are curious, I'm using ShipYourReptiles. They've been immensely helpful and even set up my pick-up time and walked me through how to pack the box correctly.
I've got the box all set and ready... Just need to prepare the heat pack 2 hours before the box is picked up, put the snakes in their bags, and pack the extra space with paper to absorb impact.
It's going to be weird to put them in a box and hand them over to the pick-up guy. And I probably won't sleep well until I know they've arrived and are settling in at home. So fingers crossed that it all goes well! We all know how precious this cargo is to me
