Re: Parasites Bearded Dragon

depends which vet you go to. Call around to the reptile vets in your area, ask them thier exam fee (literally anywhere from $30-$100), how much a fecal float or smear is (usually $15-$30) and aprox cost of meds.

Re: Parasites Bearded Dragon

Beardie poop is really stinky in general. But it was about $50 for when my beardie had parasites. And that was just for the meds, he did the fecal for free.

Certain foods you feed them can make the poop runny too. have you change up the veggies at all lately?

Re: Parasites Bearded Dragon

Nope, low humidity lizards. They like it dry dry. to much water can be detrimental to them. No need to bath everyday.

Re: Parasites Bearded Dragon

I give my beardies baths ummmmmm never. Only if they get to covered in dirt and not getting enough UVB on their skin.

Re: Parasites Bearded Dragon

I've been bathing my beardie everyday up until just after her first birth day since then its a couple times a week. She has never had a problem, never had runny stools, RI, or any sort of problem from it, she is well hydrated solid poo and urate.

Re: Parasites Bearded Dragon

The only true way to tell if it has parasites or not is to taste the poop
