Hello everyone in this forum.. Im Chot from Brunei.. Im new here.. I have a very sad news to share.. I've lost my Ball Python for a week now..his name is folio.. im so sad.. i put my snake's cage outside of the house. actually this is not the first time he escaped. before, he just not far from his cage when he escaped. but now, i couldn't even find him. pls guys.. any tips to get folio back? my friend told me, actually ball python don't go too far from the cage.. is it true? sos.
i would imagine that BPs are like every other snake and will not necessarily stay close to his cage. if he got outside i would check the perimeter of your house first as they like to be against something like a wall if he is not there then i would look in bushes and any hiding spot near the house until you find him.
I too am new to this and like you I have lost my BP.... I have tried all the things that have been posted but nothing has worked... My Melvin is lost inside though. If anyone knows of something I haven't tried then please let me know...
I have heat pad out with water near.
I have moved it from roomto room.
Looked high and low
and any other heat source.
I have 3 live mice and have also moved from roomto room with heat and water...
Still nothing?
