Re: Kenyan

How is the temperment? I've dealt with a few and a good amount were occasional nippers. Little buggers.

Re: Kenyan

He's pretty good, little wiggly but he/she (haven't sexed it yet) settles down fairly quickly.

Most can be, especially when young...they tend to grow out of it as they mature though.

Re: Kenyan

Thank you!
I keep a mixture of big ones and small ones, these are pretty neat, something a little differnt from the norm. LOL I actually switched him back over to an all sand substrate which seems to be working better, neat seeing just his nose sticking up waiting for prey to pass by.

Re: Kenyan

Yah I like using sand with a very small water dish. Filling it only every other day and daily when they were in shed.

Re: Kenyan

If I got a sand boa and Its illegal to have one could the government find out. Or if I took it to the vet could they do something to it or me?

Re: Kenyan

If it's illegal to keep for you.....you shouldn't even be considering it.

In the event they find out you will be charged, the animal will be confiscated, and you will be fined.

Re: Kenyan

Well that does suck, but it still isn't worth the risk.
