Start on Rat Pups?

Im picking up my baby burm tommorow. Ive heard its best to start them out on rat pups so they can get used to the 'taste', is this suggested?

ive heard that most people start baby burms out on rats because they dont want the snake to start on mice and then reject rats. i would say that a baby burm could handle a rat pup(correct me if im wrong). good luck with your new burm and be sure to post pics if you can!

I started my baby burms on rat pinkies, they take them without hesitation, and they're growing like weeds !!

If you can get them, I recommend pinkie rabbits. Saves alot of trouble down the road.
