I'll be travelling to Oshawa this weekend and staying for 5 days.
I was wondering if there are any herp related spots I should know about. Reptile zoo's, speacialty shops etc.
Thanks,
Trevor
Yeah the only places to go to look at any herps, snakes especially, is hidden in the basements of those of us who keep them out here. Gotta agree about the pet shops in town, it's best just not to talk about them. You pretty much need to go into T.O. to see or buy anything.

Well the shops are not that interesting but if you like you can give us a call at the Durhan snake group and I am sure one of us can show you our herps ......see forum DSG
While not in oshawa, port credit pets, reptilia and the toronto zoo are a short drive away. during the summer there's indian river reptile zoo (just east of peterborough) but i found it was a bit overpriced, though they do have lots of venomous on display.
