I have tokays, leos and a V. Cham, now that the bugs are starting to come back, what sorts of bugs can I feed these guys? I realize they cannot be contaminated, and I will collect from a safe place. Grasshoppers, worms, beetles, flys, are all these fair game??
We'll its hard to say that you can find clean ones since bugs are free to travel on their own will *lol*
But I have heard that moths are a safe bet because of their short lifespans, they rarely have a chance to get contaiminated. "???"
This could of course be total BS but that's what I have heard....I'd refrain from feeding anything else from outside though....flies are filthy, although I dont know if that matters to herps, Iw ouldn't feed them though......I have fed moths to my tree frog and pink toe tarantula and they have been fine.
