So I want to get 2 baby leopard geckos, but I also want a naturalistic look in the terrarium which cannot be achieved by repticarpet or paper towels etc. So is there any loose substrate that will work for juvenile leopard geckos? I was thinking either all sand or a sand/rock combination.
I use a mixture of top soil and eco earth. My dirt isn't quite deep enough for a true bio-active but I add isopods fairly regularly... leopard geckos love to hunt isopods.
