rosy boa questions

Hey all

I have an empty PVC cage my BP just vacated and we can't have an empty setup right so I upgraded the controls and added an pro products rhp (his new cage has the same upgrades). Almost decided on a childrens python until I decided to ask what else would fit in a 24x24x12 cage. A member suggested rosy boa and so far it seems like a better choice but reading various care sheets I'm noticing a few holes and inconsistencies in the information.

1 Do you provide water at all times?
2 What is the desired humidity range? I have read they like it dry but they never give specific numbers. Being winter in Canada high humidity right now isn't a concern but come summer it might be.
3 What substrate is good and which is not? Leaning towards aspen.
4 Would a rosy use wood branches for climbing?

Any help to get these cleared up for owners. I can setup the stats and get the heat dialed in. No substrate in the cage at the moment.
