First shed

Just noticed Chimaera's starting to get blue eyes. So, I guess feeding her tomorrow's off the schedule. Is there anything specific I should be doing to help her? Ambient humidity is around 50%, and she has a rather large water bowl.

Congrats First sheds are great.

Re: First shed

Hmm...Not really a lot I can do to raise humidity. I could try putting in a humid hide, but I don't think I have anything I can make one out of. On a seperate note, what do I do with the skin once it's off? Frame it?

Re: First shed

humid hides can be made out of any clean old plastic food container; just cut a hole in the side, place damp paper towels in it, and put the lid on it. you will probably have to mist the hide itself a few times/week to maintain humidity.
