Profile: Tigers Eye
This week Living Gems profiles Tiger’s Eye. Tiger’s Eye was born in August 2009. She was acquired due to sharing a bloodline with Topaz, a gorgeous female we unfortunately lost in the madness of 2011. We named Tiger’s Eye, as with all Living Gems females, after a semiprecious gemstone.
Here is Tiger’s Eye in June 2010, just after she arrived at Living Gems:
Here is Tiger’s Eye as of August 2012, on the occasion of her third birthday:
Inside #1
Inside #2
Currently weighing 1585 grams, we expect Tiger’s Eye to join our breeder ranks for the 2014 season.
Thank you for reading,

Looking good, always glad to see one of my babies doing well!!! And she is half sister to Topaz, sharing the same father.

Thank you all! Bloedig, our website is still under development; for now, we just use our Facebook page. If you have any specific questions, just shoot me an e-mail or post there, and I'd be happy to help. Thank you for the interest!

Re: Profile: Tigers Eye
Will do. I am in the process of changing around my office / reptile room and will hopefully have enough room for a BRB.
Gonna ask these questions on you FB page too, but figured I would post them here as well.
Are males smaller than females?
What enclosure size would you suggest for a full grown male?

Re: Profile: Tigers Eye
Males generally stay smaller than females. Males top out around five feet, and females at six...there are, however, always exceptions, so plan accordingly.
For an adult of either gender, I recommend at least six square feet of floor space. More is better if you have the room.
Ask away if I can help further!
