The Bruce's Sister

Meet The Bruce's baby sister. She was the last to come out of her egg (yesterday). I couldn't help myself and will be getting her as well. This WILL be the end of my snakes. My goal has always been to work with retics and now I'll have two! Like him, she's a sunfire possible het albino. She'll be named after one of Robert's real sisters to keep the theme going...unless she proves to need remaning. I have no plans for breeding. These animals are strictly for me to work with and enjoy.

She's a beauty

Re: The Bruce's Sister

She did Stephan. He messaged me as soon as she came out and I asked for pics. This is what I got. lol He knew I originally wanted a female. He made me what I believe to be a good deal on them, plus he's going to change them to f/t so it will be easier on me. He's been willing to answer all my questions and help me so far and promises to help in the future.

Re: The Bruce's Sister

Thanks! They've been my dream animal to have since I discovered them in the late 90's. But I realize keeping them can be a huge task with their caging and food requirements, not to mention other behavior factors.

Every animal I've had...past and present...has been a stepping stone to a retic. I've felt ready for one for a while but wanted to make sure I was at a place where I could afford to keep them properly. Since moving to Oklahoma, I've been able to do so much more for my animals that I now feel confident in being able to have them.

It will probably be double the trouble but it will be worth it!

Re: The Bruce's Sister

very nice retic, will look even better once she has had her first shed. And you wont be disappointed keeping them, retics are brilliant snakes to work with, definitely one of my favorite species.
