My red x Bearded dragon

Her Name is scalet and i got her in May 2012 and she was 2 months old so shes 11 months now Ill post pictures when i can

Bio active substrate, or just for humidity? High humidity can cause a upper respiratory infection in a bearded dragon.

Dragons need very dry conditions

I do think that is a way to big of water bowl. I dont recommend one at all but if you really want one you need one at most 6 inches across. The small ceramic ones used for rodents are perfect. With a bowl that big it will raise humidity to unacceptable conditions. If you were keeping him like a varanid it would be fine but since you are not I highly recommend you replace that gigantic water bowl.
