Re: quick carpet question
If healthy and kept in the right conditions.. they can go months. I believe it was Shaun who had a hatchling go 10 months right out of the egg without eating.

Re: quick carpet question
Yeah, they can be a trooper thats for sure! I've seen them go 3 months without eating and barely lose any weight. As long as their skin does not start to sink in or appear dehydrated, you should not have too much to worry about. But sometimes not feeding is a sign of a larger issue at hand usually husbandry or illness related. Those issues need to be addressed first if possible!

Re: quick carpet question
Double and triple check husbandry, if that is all ok then just wait it out

Depends on it's condition to begin with and wether it's actually ill or just gone off the feed.

Re: quick carpet question
There is a difference in the snake choosing not to eat and you choosing not to feed it.

How often do you feed? Going away for a week shouldnt be an issue at all.?

Re: quick carpet question
Yeah, your biggest concern will be amount of water in the cage. For a week, I'd provide a second small dish

Re: quick carpet question
Your Carpet can skip a week of feeding if needed.
Make sure it has water, though...
