They do! lol It's the little lines in the V shape. I always say it makes burms look like they have a military hair cut lol
He's a cute little bugger. How old is he and how big do they get?

I *think* he's about 4-5 months old. I know that he was born this year, I just can't remember what month. Lol.
As far as how big he'll get, African House Snakes are one of the species that exhibits a sexual dimorphism regarding size. This boy might only top out at 2' long, but can get close to 3. A female, however, will get significantly larger. My female is over 4' long, and around 600g. I bought her as an adult in 2010, and she's still grown quite a bit since then. She finally slowed her growth over this past year, but she still sheds what seems like every 3 weeks. Lol. I'll see if I can track down a picture of her being a fatty.

What a sweet little thing. Love that tiny face and itty bitty eyes. Sounds like he's quite the spirited snake

Re: Diamonde - African House Snake
Wow! I'm looking into these guys and they're really cool! When I get a snake someday, this will be on my list of considerations. What size/type of enclosure does he have?

Currently, he's in a little 10 gallon tank with a heat pad and a couple of hides. Very minimal for the time being.

What size tank will he be in as an adult? Are they climbers?

I'll probably move him into a 20 gallon, just because he ALWAYS seems to be out and about. Lol. My female is content to just laze around in one spot, but this guy seems to be always on the hunt.
