Re: Learning HDR, what do you guys think?

Take three identical photos at 3 different exposures and put them together.

Re: Learning HDR, what do you guys think?

Is there a set rule to which exposure values you have to take them in? Or just any random exposure shots put together? And how do you take the same photo 3 times with different exposure values? Wouldn't the picture be different from movement?

Re: Learning HDR, what do you guys think?

-2, 0 and 2+ is what I have the settings at on my camera. There should be a setting on yours somewhere that will take 3 shots at different exposures, and you should be able to change the bracketing.

Trial and error is the best approach. I take 3 shots at one setting, 3 at another, etc. Then see which three when put together look the best. The program I use is called Photomatix Pro

Re: Learning HDR, what do you guys think?

Canon SX20is (not an SLR)

No lens. Just a circular polarizing filter. I don't leave home without it.

Re: Learning HDR, what do you guys think?

Not bad actually, good work! A lot of HDR's can look very overcooked but these look well done to me.

My phones camera has a feature where it takes three photos at one time and blends them for me.
