Question Faded spots

I have had a bp for almost a year now and i have noticed that she has had some faded spots, but it was only a couple, so i didnt worry too much. Since her recent shedding, between yesterday and today, she has multiple fade spots of various sizes. i also noticed that the fade spots are only on the golden areas and at the back half. I am worried and dont know what to do. I have been searching to find out what it could have been for the past 3 hours now. Can anyone help me?

Re: Urgent!!!

Could you provide some pictures of her? Without pictures it is hard to provide help.

But do they look anything like the faded spots on this fellow here, underneath his chin and further along his back? Or in the second picture with the major fading, almost down to the belly?

Re: Urgent!!!

Just an opinion...

Do you have any before and after photo's? I think I've heard of color fading in pastel BP's. How is your temps, and humidity? What exactly do you feed? Mice/Rats, something else? Have you ever put lotion on some dry skin, and see the color saturation return to your skin, or thrown a shirt in the water and the color becomes much richer? Maybe your humidity is low, and your snakes skin is dry? Is he shedding completely without pieces left behind? (Somehow that sounded like a Charmin commercial) And have you tried giving him a good soak in lukewarm water?

Is your snake:

Shedding with no problems?
A good eater?
Going poo and pee once or twice a week?
Look alert, and responsive?

If so, I wouldn't put too much stock in anything being 'wrong' with your snake, maybe a little dry skin - retaining an old shed?. A picture would be worth 1,000 right now. Just a few things to marinade on, maybe one of the other members can chime in with another opinion.

Re: Urgent!!!

I've heard of BP morphs coloring fading as they grow. Maybe he/she is just growing?

Re: Urgent!!!

Probably embarassed that it was nothing to worry about. A shed or growning but certainly not " urgent "

Re: Faded spots

I gave the thread a more appropriate title. It certainly doesn't need to scream "Urgent!!!!!"

Woo! Well, I hope her snake IS okay, although from what I read, it sounds like there isn't any real dangerous situations that could be showing.
