A few hatching.....

Finally some triangulum hatching. These are amelanistic and T positive L.t.nelsoni. Typical percentage of 50/50 when a T positive is bred to an amelanistic. And the last photo is of a Durango Mountain King (L.m.greeri) sitting in her egg prior to venturing out in to the world. She is the product of a light phase male bred to a heterozygous hypomelanistic female. Thanks for looking!

Re: A few hatching.....

Those look fantastic Jimmy! So do the Amels carry the T-pos gene now? I mean from that particular clutch of babies.

Re: A few hatching.....

Thanks Jorge! No one knows whether the amels are now carriers or not. Everybody breeds the T pos. to amels. Don Shores produced two clutches of nothing but T pos. last year. Either he hit really good odds or those amels he bred to were carriers of the T pos. gene. I will start back tracking how the T pos. gene works. I bred my male T pos. to a normal female this year. Then I am holding back a pair and am going to breed them together to see if I produce T pos. and amels. It is a new gene and some breeding trials really need to be done.

It'll be ready for a good home once I get it on pinkies and has three meals, hint, hint

Thanks Shaun, I am about half way through the hatching season. My last clutch of eggs should hatch about October 1st.

Thanks Pete! The next few T positive L.t.nelsoni clutches I am really anticipating. Patience is killing me.

As soon as she sheds I will take some more. I will post them here, figure about a week or so she finally decided to leave the egg yesterday.
