Ajax expo anyone? (June 17th)
Is anyone attending the Ajax reptile expo on the 17th? If so, what are you hoping to see/pick up?
I'm getting myself a little Western hognose.

I am not but would love to see pics! It would also be awesome if you could look there and see if you can find any corn snake breeders that will ship to alberta. If you could do that for me that would be awesome!

I'm on the other side of the country, so no!!
But same as GarterPython, if you see any corn breeders with Sunkissed (normal, motley or stripe) can you grab their info for me?? It would be much appreciated!!

Re: Ajax expo anyone? (June 17th)
Ill probably be there, the prices are fair so it makes for a interesting day for 8$. I went to one in kitchener in April though and it was really small and not very exciting, but the one in toronto with the reptil/fish auction was really sweet so I will give this one a try.

might go planning on grabbing a hoggy! and yea the toronto auction one was pretty good, but not nearly as good as the Mississauga ones a few years ago.

The edmonton reptile show sucks. There is not very much selection. All it is is ball pythons.

Re: Ajax expo anyone? (June 17th)
The one in T.O a few weeks ago was alright, but I do agree that the Mississauga one I went to a couple of years ago was probably the best one I've been to.
The auction was kind of a nice touch in Toronto but I didn't pay too much attention to it.. except for when that red tegu came up!
I will be picking up a hognose and everything I need for it, so hopefully there is a good vendor for supplies.

Here is my first little hognose! Picked him up from Norm at Dino Reptiles.

Here is a better shot from when we got home:

The expo was pretty small, but it had it's advantages. There weren't 50 people all trying to squeeze in to look at one table which was nice, and you had more time to actually talk to the vendors.
Unfortunately there weren't any corn snake breeders, mostly ball pythons and I am an idiot and forgot my memory card for my camera so I have no photos to share.
Maybe next time!
I'm interested to see what everyone else picked up.
