Re: Some burms of mine
Great looking snakes, sure takes a dedicated individual to care for burms like you are!

Wow, nice burms!!! the baby is especially nice...what is he? How are you going to house so many burms when they're adults?

Nice Burms. The baby looks like a Granite Burmese. So how big was the big lad and why don't you keep him any more?

Re: Some burms of mine
cheers guys! the baby is indeed a granite, DH for albino and green. im surprised by him as the others ive had have been fast growing but he is like a worm still!
the big lad isnt with us as we had to downsize house and sell on my biggies (a 9ft olive python, breeding boa pair, the big lad and our iggy) it wasnt fair on them to keep them in less than adequate housing.
the yearlings are in a 6x3x3 modular viv that i can extened with microclimate AHS heater. the young lads is in a normal 3ft viv. i use viv exotic housing for most but do rack the smaller/younger animals.
i will have a dedicated rep room in 6 months so housing isnt a problem. i have quite a few snakes (a lot of babies) so this room is going to be essential in the next year!

just the one "baby"! the yearlings are our grown on babies! burms arent my main focus, i just keep a few as i find them intersting and easy to work with for a big snake.
i am on the hunt for a couple this year though, im after a female green DH granite and albino and i wouldnt mind a Lucie but not seen one as an adult in the flesh, so im still undecided on that!
oh and the big lad was around 13 to 14ft but never actually measured him.
