They're watching...

My two rescues, Bitey and Ribs. Needless to say they have been feeling healthy. Every time i enter the room i am scrutinized. lol

It just cracked me up that they were in the exact same position...as i ran to get the camera, Bitey moved a bit, but you still get the idea. Bitey on the left, ribs on the right. Little goofs.

Lol they look like they are pulling watch! Bitey: "check it out! She's back"! Ribs: "really? Lemme see"! Too funny!

Re: They're watching...

i love these guys. i'm a terrible rescue/adoption person since i just keep everyone : )
They are actually *still* recovering from being malnourished and dehydrated. They finally have normal poos and pees, but have non-stop been eating and shedding. Bitey has never refused a meal, though Ribs keeps refusing becuase he is still looking for a girlfriend. I keep telling him no girl would be interested in a skeletal thin snake like himself, but he insists. He's in shed AGAIN right now!
I got them both from the pound at the end of October, and i've lost direct count of how many times they've shed. Far more than any of my other animals, growing babies included. They are now full and complete sheds, and everything looks good...i'm just surprised that at their size they are still doing it so often. Ribs is 4 feet long, and all male. Just their body is metabolizing an recovering still.

Anyway, they always make me laugh because they watch me so much. Bitey was supposed to be renamed to Scout, but it just wouldn't stick, even though he's never bitten me...though he has chased me away from a rat once *lol*

Re: They're watching...

there were some others i wanted to get from the pound, as well, lately...but i *knew* i'd keep them and i just don't have the room (one was a Burmese). I'd like to tell myself that i'll get them, take care of them, and find them a new home....but yeah...i know better *lol*

How could anyone give them a better home than you?

Re: They're watching...

Also, this thread reminded me of a picture I took at PetCo once
