can anyone help out on morph
can anyone help out with the morth of this? i got it from reptile shop about a month ago, was told it was a granite but theres not much speckels onit. Unless its been breed with a normal (which i dont know what the mum and dad was, i didnt get no paperwork with it at all)

Hmmm... I'm more into Morelia my self but it looks like a straight up Ball to me?? maybe a closer shot could shed some more light for others more of the ball tastes

It's hard to tell from such a small photo, but it looks like a normal ball python to me. A granite ball python would have much more speckling on the sides, which yours doesn't have. Granite - Morph List - World of Ball Pythons

I am in no way experienced with balls yrt. but that looks like a colorful normal or a really dull pastel to me!!

hi thanks to all the replys..
i was leaning towards a normalxpastel thou there is some speckels on the side of the body.. i bought this as a granite and paid £150 for this snake, maybes a bit much if its a normal. ill put some pics on in a min with a few closer shots of him

a normal x pastel would look exactly like a normal but have the gene (het) for Pastel.
For a normal that is alot of money, but petshops are notorious for WAYY overcharging for snakes!!

it has to do with the size of the pics you upload, if theyre bigger then they will automatically downsize to fit the thread. Thats when you can click on the pic to see the bigger image.
